The Role: Reporting to Workshop Manager, the role requires servicing, diagnostics, repair, pre-MOT testing and inspection of all vehicles and plant. All work should be to prescribed standards in accordance with the manufacturer, Department for Transport (DfT), the Operator’s Licence, to ensure all vehicles and plant are always in excellent and serviceable condition. You will always need to work in a safe and organised manner, prioritising jobs depending on the needs of the business.
Key responsibilities of the role are: To maintain and work in a safe and clean environment
Ennsuring all vehicles are road worthy and serviced within approved scheduled time frames.
Plan services & maintenance for vehicles not covered by manufacturers service schedules
Carry out all work in accordance to Department for Transport requirements
Managing workshop stock levels.
Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for
MOT inspection To attend broken down or accident damaged vehicles and effect permanent or running repairs as required.

Qualifications/Experience- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent
- Class 1 driving license desirable
- 5yrs+ experience working in a similar role
