Salary: £65,000 - £80,000

Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid)

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Senior manager experience in a medium-sized practice working with SMEs required
• ACA or ACCA qualification essential
• Strong technical knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISA's needed
• RI qualification or ability to obtain RI status within 12 months required
• Passion for developing relationships essential
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of CCH preferred
• Pro-active approach to tasks, whether large or small, necessary
• Motivation for a fast-paced environment required
• Enthusiasm for immersing in company culture and business expected

THE ROLE

• Collaborate with the Head of Audit to manage the department and deliver high-quality audits for SME clients.
• Support the audit team in conducting onsite work.
• Build strong client relationships, manage expectations, and oversee the audit process.
• Develop and mentor the team, serving as a role model.
• Perform file reviews on a range of audit clients, applying technical knowledge and ensuring quality standards.
• Identify and deliver added value services to help clients thrive.
• Secure new business and convert leads to support departmental growth.
