The role will provide a panoramic view of a fast expanding, complex organisation and provides a view of the whole commercial operation. Parts of the role had previously been outsourced and therefore provides a real opportunity to make a difference. As the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful. You will lead the consolidation of financial data from various entities, ensuring the precision and timeliness of financial statements. Your role extends to the oversight and preparation of management accounts, fostering a culture of excellence in financial reporting. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this excellent role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc), preferably trained within an accounting firm.
  • Excellent academic background is essential
  • 2 - 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, consolidation, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in consolidation, and reporting, preferably in a private equity/ financial services organisation is key.
  • Excellent mastery of Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. SAGE).
  • FCA regulatory reporting experience / understanding is desirable.
  • A keen analytical mind, with a commitment to accuracy and detail.
  • Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced environment and adhere to stringent deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, fostering collaboration across diverse teams.


THE ROLE

  • Champion the financial consolidation process across multiple entities and structures, delivering impeccable and timely financial reports.
  • Craft comprehensive management accounts (monthly, quarterly and annual), including P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Lead the preparation of statutory accounts ensuring compliance with FRS 102 accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Enhance financial frameworks and processes, contributing to the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Engage in budget monitoring, forecasting, and insightful variance analysis and insights to aid decision-making.
  • Play a pivotal role in the implementation of accounting system, automating the consolidation process and optimising financial operations and streamlining workflows.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, providing financial acumen to support business initiatives.
  • Coordinate audits and address findings, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Coordinate and execute ad- hoc financial projects and task including data analysis, report generation and process re-design.
