 Key Responsibilities:

 - Construct CASS reconciliations, including client money and asset reconciliations, in line with internal policies.

- Manage discrepancies, ensuring exceptions are investigated, escalated, or resolved promptly.

- Identify and correctly fund asset shortfalls.

- Monitor client money allocation to ensure timely processing as per CASS 7 regulations.

- Complete daily Internal Client Money Reconciliations, safeguarding client money in accordance with FCA CASS 7 regulations.

- Collate data for CMAR submissions and produce Management Information (MI).

- Conduct peer reviews and sign-offs of team reconciliations.

- Perform User Acceptance Testing and other system testing related to reconciliation activities.

- Assist in implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

- Support internal and external audits as required.

- Respond to external client queries in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience:

 - Proven experience in constructing Client Money and Asset Reconciliations.

- Strong background in financial operations, reconciliations, or a similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of CASS regulations and their application to daily or monthly procedures.

- Familiarity with automated reconciliation tools, such as Autorek, is desirable.

- High IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel; advanced functions and formulas are a plus.

- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging positively with colleagues at all levels and third parties.
