WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: 7+ years in developing interest and/or foreign exchange strategies.
- Professionalism: Capable of presenting to financial sponsors and senior management.
- Risk Expertise: Ability to define and manage financial risk strategies.
- Derivatives Knowledge: Extensive understanding of financial derivatives.
- Industry Background: Experience in banking preferred; corporate treasury or consulting in risk management also considered.
- Quantitative Skills: Strong modelling and quantitative skillsets.
- Analytical Approach: Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
- Drive and Tenacity: Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to grow the business and achieve success.
- Consultative Style: Excellent listening, communication, and writing skills.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support risk management assignments.
- Develop and nurture client relationships.
- Market our services to financial sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporates.
- Advise clients on risk management and hedge advisory strategies, focusing on interest rate and FX exposures.
- Ensure project proposals meet professional standards and objectives.
- Drive business development in the financial sponsor market.
- Maintain and enhance client relationships, positioning us as the treasury advisor of choice.
- Contribute to the global growth and development of the business.
- Collaborate with consultants on strategy development and client targeting.
- Create bespoke analytical tools for multi-asset risk management.
- Develop cross-correlated simulation engines for multi-assets.
- Integrate analytical tools into standardized company deliverables.
- Enhance fund-level FX hedging capabilities.
- Maintain and develop analytics and client deliverables.
